Volunteering Opportunities

Enrolling your child in Bismarck Youth Baseball, Inc. is a commitment that you will take an active part in the success and operations of the program. Bismarck Youth Baseball, Inc. is a combined volunteer effort. All board members, officers, coaches, umpires, sponsors, and team coordinators are concerned parents who give time and talent to maintain this program. Your willingness to volunteer for your child’s benefit and enjoyment is very important to the operation of this league. If your child participates in Bismarck Youth Baseball, Inc., IT IS YOUR DUTY TO HELP AND WE EXPECT YOU WILL SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER ON THE ATTACHED PREREGISTRATION FORM. To assist you in making your selection, below is a brief description of each volunteer position.

Volunteer Background Checks

In order to comply with the International charter, we are now required to have any volunteer in contact with players on fill out a volunteer application and consent to a background check. These forms will be kept on file for the year they are applicable to, then shredded. The results of background checks are confidential and are known by the League Coordinator, League President and will be reviewed by a law enforcement officer. If you have any questions regarding your volunteer application, please call 222-0659. Information regarding other volunteers from your team will not be available.
